Now the Christmas Season has well and truly begun. The broadcast of a 90-second trailer on the 15th sets the table for the 25th.  Can't wait!  We have a few caps from the trailer posted for your perusal. We've also knocked a quick screensaver for the trailer as well.

It's that time of year again, meaning it's easy to forget to dress up the site for the holidays. Over in The Vortex we have the Doctor Who Classic Christmas Screensaver for your pleasure. Ho! Ho! WHO!

We've just completed a re-design of the story index and image pages, covering every single story in the canon, updating their presentation somewhat but allowing for future expansion. Amongst the changes are…

  • Slideshows are gone.
  • Image presentation is now flashier and slicker, and new images for any story are automatically highlighted.
  • File structures are much cleaner and easier to manage.

Otherwise site sunctionality should be largely unchanged. Please let us know of any problems. Thanx for the good feedback so far!

Happy 44th Anniversary to Doctor Who … and not coincidentally to … us. Ten years ago we first began turning this corner of the web. The goal then is the same as it is now, to be a Doctor Who resource. Thank you so much for your continued patronage.

Sure we could've implemented an extensive site re-design, gone all "2.0," but we'll settle for the following…

  • An overall site update, just shy of 3000 images bumping the overall site count to 47200.
  • A special section in advance of the new season of Catherine Tate pictures.
  • The return of the Tour Holiday Tradition, the original Doctor Who Christmas The Feast of Steven.

Well, that was fun wasn't it? Time Crash was in equal measure respectful, cheeky, and touching, stopping along the way to reach out to fans one and all. One good Moffat deserves another. We have images and caps from the 2007 Children in Need Special.

This marks the last update before the Tour turns ten next week!  That's a bit scary.

Now it makes marginal sense. We here at THT Towers were wondering about the potential confluence of events next year, what with Tennant at the RSC, RTD's potential exit and so on. It looked set for Tennant and RTD to be leaving, setting all-change forward, but instead the announcement of a lite-year for the program in 2009 clarifies things, a way to keep everyone 'in place' and keep them available for other projects as well. We won't claim to be happy about it, but it does end other speculative veins.
