Today we're announcing a significant new addition to the Tour today, something the THT Brain Wizards have been noodling over for a while now.  We've been seeking a way to further our way of being a historical Doctor Who resource and to that end we are announcing On This Day in Who History.  A calendar based resource for Doctor Who through the years, which also ties in with the rest of the site.  Hope everyone enjoys it!

For amusement purposes only, we've created a couple of windows-based screen savers, one for Christopher Eccleston here, and one for Billie Piper here.  These are self-executable virus-free files and are the users responsibility for proper installation.  Have fun with'em.

The casting of Billie Piper as Rose Tyler completes the Doctor/Companion team for the 'first' series of the new program.  We've assembled a huge gallery of pictures for Billie Tyler (and there are lots of them given her fame to this point) and are presenting them in the New Who in 2005 section.  Her pix bring The Score over 12800.

Been a while since the right hand side of the page has been updated… where we occasionally ruminate about things not necessarily Doctor Who.

This fan is not only one of Doctor Who but of vintage British television.  In the 1960's there were three main pillars of ITV adventure series which made some impact in the US.  The  most prominent of these was The Avengers.  Secret Agent (or Danger Man as it was known throughout the rest of the world) also made an impact.  I love both of these shows dearly.  McGoohan (pre-Prisoner)  was amazing.  Now I have finally got a chance to see the third.

Roger Moore may not have been a terribly good Bond (like many I'm a Connery loyalist) but his TV tour de Force The Saint, currently being shown weekdays @ 4pm EDT on BBC America is must see for fans of vintage British TV.

This might go doubly for Doctor Who fans for you will get to see many well-known Doctor Who faces in their primes. The very first day I was rewarded with seeing Patrick Troughton just before he took over for Hartnell, the very next I was treated to Roger Delgado.  Others I'm sure will follow.

Give it a look before they decide to run more room makeover shows.

This previous update touched every section of the web site so you can poke around to see what has changed or you can always cheat a little by going to As the Tour Turns…

After months of speculation Christopher Eccleston, who probably was on very fans' radar just a week earlier, is now set to be the new Doctor in the new 2005 series.  Further casting remains to be seen, but as promised we embracing this head on, but please be aware that this section will be evolving as events warrant.  So go ahead and check out our New Who in 2005 section. Now with over 100 images…

As for pictures of 'Scream of the Shalka' Doctor Richard E. Grant, we're keeping images of him in the Tour for the meantime since he had the BBC Sanction behind him..  We've scoured the net for pictures and are presenting him here.

The March update vaulted the Tour's image count over 12000, up a full 20% from just 15 months ago.  This update, like many others, covers a lot of ground, see As the Tour Turns… for more details.
