What an agreeable series The Sarah Jane Adventures is. Ostensibly aimed at kids, the show is sure enough of itself now in it's third season to have a story, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith, with mostly just the cast and how Sarah's sudden relationship would affect them all. Of course for Tour purposes there is one major point of difference, and that being the inclusion of the Doctor himself. It was interesting to see how Tennant bounced off the kids (almost literally) and led them through. When you consider just how little of him we as fans have seen of him since July 2008, it almost makes the stories which commence on November 15th (a Sunday… really?!) a little overwhelming.

This update, while largely focused on Tennant and Eccleston, touches every corner of the site. Check out
As for the new look, we quite like the 1950's Ivy League graduate student vibe going on. One which, if it holds, should also provide enough variation to wear well with the public. The Tardis shell looks brand spankin' new and quite consciously harkens back to the 1960's in design touches.
… and no we're not referring to the current Tardis occupant, rather it's the nagging feeling that we're missing something. It's rhythm, or rather the rhythm of a season unfolding before our eyes, week to week. The anticipation of the next story, reaction to the last and, at least during the RTD era, the shaping of what the season is building up to, is all but gone.
The Season-o-Specials for 2009 begins with the fun, interesting, but all-too-forgettable
